Alex was having reservice for 3 wks, and today was the last day. Managed to knock off at 2pm and therefore decided to go onboard for few hrs of thrill. We reached Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal at 350pm and book our tickets to depart at 420pm. It was a 30mins ride from SIN to batam but had to transfer to another boat to Leisure World Cruise which takes abt another 20 to 25mins. I felt like puking from this terrible journey. .after severe inhalation from a bunch of smokers. it was like one after another lighting up, like a marathon passing on the lighter & non-stop. Finally..my wait had arrived! So many 'uncles & aunties' , all regulars..they even know when's the time to stand up from their seats & chope beside the ferry door coz they exactly know where to disembark. All pushing & dashing..signn..we finally went onboard the cruise to the casino at 550pm. Only had a few games of Barcarat till 7.10pm & won only a hundred bucks..hee...We went to the cafe to had a quick dinner & wait for the ferry to be back to SIN.
Journey back was twice as bad. Ferry overcrowded. Again, i was fed by the 2nd hand smoke. No seats around at all. I wondered if they do practise the actual capacity of the ferry & prepared any passengers manifest??? As i only managed to see 21 life jackets on the outdoor deck where the fact was definitely more than that. * faint* The moment the ferry door opened, people behind us pushed us all the way to the front. Wah piang..u cant imagine this manz..Anyway..the moment we stepped out the ferry we ran! yes..You heard me right..we ran all the way to the customs and just wana get out from the crowd. In all, we managed to endure the whole journey & reached 10pm at TMFT! I guess..I will never go there again..not so enjoyable afterall. Hate the journey ride, the smoke, the pushing, the crowdedness...
